Discord doesn't swear any more then Q from star trek did, which is to say very very rarely. He's far too verbose for such behavior. Actually, try to have his speech be more complex and -for lack of a better word- sophisticated in general. He's a smart guy who holds himself above most everpony else in the world. He's above such brutish and honest exclamations of frustration. Try and write Discord's speaking patterns better next time. His actions seem right though.

and also the bit where he's thinking how magic doesn't have to explain shit. Maybe he's not SAYING it, but people generally think the same way they talk, and Discord doesn't talk like that. I suppose it could be said that since he's not saying it out loud and that the text isn't indented or otherwise marked to indicate a direct translation of his thoughts that it may just be the writer paraphrasing, but the way it's written implies that it's not paraphrased.
On a side note, this Celestia is almost certainly the "Molestia" version. If it weren't so obvious, I'd be pointing out all the problems with her being so out of character/ooc. Since she's a toned down Molestia though, she's more or less in character.

4249547 I understand how you feel about the part where he doesn't have to explain anything, but the 'damn' being used here is more of an exclamation than anything else. Were the show not directed at little kid, I would not be surprised if many of the characters used 'damn' in that same manner.
Also, I'm not sure if you have realized, this story is written by three different authors. The styles of each chapter will differ between who is writing what. Foals Errand writes Luna, I write Tia, and Jorofrarie writes Discord. It's an odd way of going about things, but for us it's more the journey and the experience of writing this. There will be times where we make blunders, and it is going to be unquestionably bizarre for all involved. Joro certainly keeps us on our toes.

....just....no.....I get that you may be trying to be clever or something, and I know you aren't the first (and certainly won't be the last) to try your hand at ponify-ing holiday names, but out of all of them the April fools names have always grated on me the most. why?
1: Majority will change April Fools to April Foals. I'm not sure if any of you have noticed, but holidays are often named after what is being celebrated, as seen with April FOOLS celebrating the Trixters and pranksters of past, present, and future. So using that logic, April FOALS would then be centered around children, and there for NOT primarily about pranks. (this also applies to people who change all uses of Fool to Foal. you are no longer calling them deficient in intelligence, but rather childish)
2: that neighpril pun......uuuuuuggghhhh
. I've seen ALOT of bad puns, but that one ranks pretty high up there. Have an imaginary internet muffin for your achievement

I would love to see a scene where some villain rants at the Cutie Mark Crusaders, "You FOALS!"
And they look at each other, and then at the villain, and then go, "Uh... yeah? We're foals, what's your point?"
Or some villain does the same to Diamond Tiara, who responds angrily, "I am not a foal! I have my cutie mark and everything! I am a filly, you idiot, and if you keep calling me a foal my daddy will make your life really unpleasant!" (Aka, a thirteen year old yelling that she is not a kid, she is a young lady. :-))
