I'll admit, this turned out a lot better than I was expecting. I like the way you characterized Tank.

It begins—
Wait what is this?

Rain, whatrudoing? Stahp. :fluttershbad:

Thanks for the suggestion Li-ten!

I'm slightly disappointed in Winona's characterization, but I adore what you did with Gummy.

Writing is all about taking chances! Making mistakes! Getting messy! :derpytongue2:
I'm glad you enjoyed!

I believe Winona is the pet that received amount of characterization in the show thus far, so I had to take a leap with her character. I had to choose between making her a hard-worker like Applejack, or more of a friendly dog that lives for adrenaline. For this story, I decided to use the adrenaline junkie version. Sorry if it was a let down. :ajsleepy: I write stories that focus on the thoughts of each pet (so far I've done Gummy, Owlicious, and Angel), so when I get around to writing Winona's story I'll try to give her a better characterization.
I'm glad you liked Gummy's usage. I was worried I would be writing him out of character for the sake of plot convince.

I never thought in a million years that I would ship ponies, but I do.

I never thought in a billion years that I would ship the pets of ponies, but it seems you've proven me wrong. Well done.

6289472 On the contrary. Place any thinker I know into a position where they have to actually act on what they're thinking, and they'll IMMEDIATELY start to panic.
Like Charlie Brown. There was a monologue in my theater class where he was pondering the loneliness of peanut butter, and how he wished his crush would look at him. When she suddenly did, he panicked and stuck his paper lunch bag over his head.
As for Winona, I'm working out in my head that she is simply easily pleased and distractible, rather than not being a deep character.

Very good. The pets are very in-character. Great work with Gummy thoughs. Thanks for sharing such tale

Wow... thanks! I must admit, after destroying one shipping in one of my stories, I didn't think I would be able to make a new shipping that people would like. Thank you for proving me wrong!

Who doesn't love a Charlie Brown analogy? :pinkiehappy:
Hmm... makes me want to write a story about Winona. Thanks for the thought-provoking comment!

What have I done? :twilightoops:

... Okay, so I hate to point this out but this is just driving me up the wall...

An Unlikely Paring

If you type the word 'paring' into Microsoft Word and then ask for synonyms, the top three results you will get back are 'trimming', 'clipping', and 'cutting'.
I really think you meant 'Pairing'. :rainbowlaugh:
