This story is a sequel to Friendship's New Flight: Second Takeoff
A couple of weeks after the Canterlot ordeal, the gang goes to Manehatten to attend a party, but while there they encounter the rival group of Suri Polomare, The Flim Flam Brothers & their star flyer Lightning Dust, all of whom are being backed by Trixie Lulamoon. Meanwhile Applejack attempts to redeem herself for her actions to Thunderlane while Rainbow continues to explore her feelings for new friend him.
Plus on the side, Rumble continues his attempts to befriend all of the Cutie Mark Crusaders.

Wow everyone except Twilight was a complete bitch in this. Dang! I feel bed for Trixie and Lightning though. Its one thing to accept a challenge but the rest of the ponies getting involved and ganging up on them was uncalled for. I hope Twilight can make this all better before another revenge scheme comes up for Trixie and party.
And Rainbow has some serious anger issues.

Trixie & Lightning will be back soon enough, they'll get their closure, but after a few more trials.
Rainbow will get a bit worse, can't say his but she might come off as even more unlikeable.
