SchrodingerFu

I had a story. It was a great story. Then Twilight Sparkle decided to go ruin that. Why did she have to hear me? Why couldn't she just assume she was going crazy like any other pony would have?

Wait, I'm getting ahead of myself. I, the mighty writer of this very story, was narrating as usual when Twilight Sparkle happened to hear me. Now, it would be in bad storytelling form to spoil what happens next, but suffice to say, hilarity ensues.

That was mean dude. :trixieshiftright:

She needed to know. Plus, she wanted to know. What was I to do?

I most usually don't like meta-fiction but man is this GOOD !

Proceed :rainbowkiss:

EVVVVVVIIIIIIIIIILLLLLL

Break it to her more gently perhaps?

... harsh.

Still. Looks interesting.

I was Kinda hoping that we'd get a whole... "Stranger than Fiction" thing going. You know, like the author is unaware of the fact that the character is actually speaking to him?

Example:
Annoyed character trying to ignore the narrator only they seem to hear.
Narration: And then his wristwatch had simply had enough. *Watch shuts off*
"Excuse me sir, do you have the time?"
"12:13."
Little did he know, that this seemingly innocous act, would lead to his eventual death.
"WHAT?!?" Starts shouting at the sky, people look at character wierd.

Still, this should be good.

Now this seems to be an interesting story - can't wait for more chapters to come :rainbowkiss:

Way to break the cutie.

Anywhoof, I liked it. Keep writing and I hope to see this featured.

Meanwhile, Twilight Sparkle, with the aid of her friends and even the Princesses themselves, are searching for a way to cross the universal boundary to end this madness.

Seriously, though, this is quite interesting.

That's odd. I always figured that Twilight would be a determinist anyway.

We think that we make choices every day, but in reality, those choices are determined by factors that are beyond our control. Did you choose to like or dislike this story? No. Your opinion is simply a reaction to how this story made you feel. How the story made you feel is determined by your personality. Your personality is determined by the experiences of your life that have shaped who you are. You reading a story is no different than someone knocking over a line of dominos. We're all just machines reacting to our buttons being pushed. :pinkiegasp:

My life experiences are forcing me to say that I'm looking forward to the next chapter! :yay:

Nice, enjoying this

Clever, Twilight. Clever. You found a level of control over EVERYTHING.

Man, I wanted to write a story like this. Overlord over a universe is such a fun thing to mess with.

:facehoof::facehoof::facehoof:Ooohhhh, you let Twilight know too much, you fool. You. :ajbemused: Fool.

It takes a certain skill and finesse to let the characters break the fourth wall without giving them a measure of Author-ity to rival your own. :facehoof:
:trixieshiftleft:Well, nothing for it but to keep watching this trainwreck. :rainbowdetermined2:

Don't look at me. Blame her for this mess.

The thing is, as a fictional character, Twilight doesn't actually think. She just thinks she does. :pinkiecrazy:

668017

But she THINKS she thinks. I think.

And now it will get interesting, well done Twi!
So much for thanking her for helping us help you help us all. :pinkiehappy:

I can't fault Twilight for taking advantage of the knowledge YOU gave to her. Two reasons: 1, she's Twilight and I'd expect that from her and 2, she's now a medium-aware character in a fictional world and has a poor opinion of the one holding the Author-ity. Trust me, I know what that's like :ajbemused:

669231
:trixieshiftright: Alright, fine. This might be KINDA slightly my fault. But Twilight didn't HAVE to get all angry! I'm sure if I had sprung this on Fluttershy she wouldn't have done any such thing.

Uh... Living up to the random tag, I guess. :applejackunsure:

> She was unaware that her two chums were on a difficult moral journey during which they would harness their skills and come to terms with themselves and with each other. They travelled to far off lands and encountered all manner of dangerous creatures and situations. One of the two fell in love. One took the life of another. Both of them realized just how privileged they were to live in the organized society of Equestria.
What?! :derpyderp1:
>Neither of them earned their cutie marks. To add insult to injury, they wouldn't be home in time to share the afternoon with Apple Bloom.
:ajbemused:

>her two chums were on a difficult moral journey during which they would harness their skills and come to terms with themselves and with each other.
>Neither of them earned their cutie marks.
:facehoof: And you wonder why Twilight doesn't want to play along with you...

Umm... Kay? I guess writing these types of stories gives you freedom to do anything...

677398
Well yeah, they hadn't had their Cutie Mark Requisition forms notarized before leaving. Can't get your cutie mark without one of those, y'know.

Haha wow you are so random.:derpytongue2:

:rainbowlaugh::rainbowlaugh::rainbowlaugh::rainbowlaugh::rainbowlaugh: this is FANTASTIC, as a wise and eternally humble man (me) once said "I accept your even trade of time for LULZ"

:facehoof: You... just... :raritydespair: I don't even.

Rule 2.5- Change story status to 'complete' for added effect.

But... A writer has power over only what happens in their story, not the world around them... *brain goes pop* :pinkiecrazy:

Well, how do you think Pinkie does what she does? She's a writer, too... :pinkiehappy:

639406
That was a funny movie... I also like how that scene finishes:

"WHAT?!", he shouts randomly to the heavens.

"I'm not shouting at the heavens, I'm shouting at YOU!"
