Shadow Eyes stood up from her place in the circle, the college aged students, all in awe of the story just told. At the door to the room was Sunrise Lily and their stallion friend with whom Shadow Eyes had a foal with.

“Wait! Whatever happened to the Prince? Did he die?” asked a young male human and Shadow Eyes smiled at him and shook her head.

“He is alive and well, but it cost him, no longer can he use magic, he is still unaging, but his magic has since left him from his wounds” said the blind Mare before she started once more towards the door.

“How do we know if this story is true?” asked a young female pony and this time it was Sunrise who smiled.

“That is the beauty of a legend, you don’t know what is true and what isn’t. It’s up to you to figure it out…”

So, as some one familiar with the 40k universe, I have some questions that really bugged me during the story. One that is really bugging me is the state of the military for the Terran faction.

I realize that you kind of went alternate universes on a lot of this stuff, but having the Emperor of Mankind on Terra and not on the golden throne means that this took place before he created the Primarchs and Space Marines, because while the Terran soldiers had ceramic armor, no mentions of increased size or abilities were mentioned, so it's assumed they're normal sized, so they're simply Astra Militarum or the 30k equivalent: Imperialis Auxilia. However, I don't believe that Slaanesh is mentioned once in your story, which I'm thankful for, seeing as how they're my least favorite Chaos God and they were the last of the major 4 to be born. But, poppa Emps only decided to directly reveal himself to direct mankind after the Eye of Terror was formed (Which meamt after the downfall of the Eldar civilization and birth of Slaanesh) so he could reunite Terra during the Age of Strife, and he used the Thunder Warriors to do so, which were precursors to Space Marines.

I did mostly enjoy your story, you did a pretty good job writing it, it's just there were a few inconsistencies with what I found familiar with one of the universes you were trying to use.
