When Dr. Jecolt, court alchemist to Princess Celestia, attemts to divide the good and evil within his own heart, he releases something dark and sinister that threatens any and all he meets. Broken and incarcerated, Jecolt must find a way to control the beast within him and save his soul. But the nefarious Hyde enjoys his place in the world a little too much.
This is an ongoing supernatural thriller story. Be warned there are scenes of blood, gore, and other controversial topics scattered throughout.

well, I saw a one where tye weapons were completely useless and you couldn't jump over enemies.
I don't know which assbag thumbs-downed this, but it is actually a brilliant rendition of a classic as far as I can tell. I recently watched the musical of Jekyll and Hyde, and I loved it. The only thing I would do is get someone to make cover art, I know a guy who can do it. Tell him that 'shred sent you'.

As a fan of the original, The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, I felt obligated to favorite this. Though I hope that Dr.Jackal (Dr.Jekyll) is actually a historical figure in the universe I'm working on. The thing is though he is from a nation an ocean away from Equestria, and I only mention him as a passing reference to a brutal and horrific murder done by a lycanthrope, In some psychiatric ward in Manehatttan.
If there's not at least ONE musical number in this fic, I will be disappoint.

As much as I like the idea this is most certainly not the story to do that in. While there, naturally, is a 'confrontation' scene it will not be what it portrayed on the musical or the book.

I've gone ahead and marked this story as Cancelled. I honestly ran out of steam for this story and I don't think I was mature enough to handle some of the criticisms from the editor. In short, it's dead.
I may resurrect it at another time but who knows.
