Small town mare, Fluttershy, has been forced into a marriage with Prince Blueblood. She'd rather be living on her own in her hometown of Ponyville with her animal friends, but Blueblood has taken a liking to her, though she is 10 years younger than him. After being introduced to the servants at the castle, she falls head over hooves for one of the indentured servants, Discord, and begins a large and scandalous love affair with him, causing some shame and disgrace to the royalty of the kingdom. This fanfiction is a crossover with the movie The Duchess and bits and pieces of the book The Phantom of Manhattan and the musical Love Never Dies.

This is written very well, though I'm wondering what kind of pace you plan on using. It's opened a bit fast, but it was enjoyable nonetheless. I am wondering though; Will Discord stay a pony? Or is it a farce? It's intriguing if he's just in disguise...
5133877 Well, thanks for asking a question. I'm actually still thinking about this, but (most likely) I'll decide to have him reveal himself. For now in the story, he'll remain a pony. Since it's an alternate universe and all, Canterlot is a bit like the city of England, as an example, (since it's a crossover and) both in real life and in the pony world, in my opinion if Discord were still in his Draconequus form and he were working at the castle, I feel like he would be considered a meeting monster, etc etc. Man, I should be an analyst.
