This story is a sequel to Spike's Gift
Princess Celestia has taken on the task of educating Spike and Yosh while Twilight Sparkle and Dawnbreak Horizon finish their studies at the School for Gifted Unicorns.
As Spike and Yosh continue to grow into their forthcoming responsibilities Twilight and Dawnbreak offer them some special stuffed animals to help inspire them in furthering their education. Though Yosh is not quite as pleased as Spike is with what gift he was provided.

I've actually been working towards becoming a genuine children's book writer. So I appreciate you noticing the attempt for the style with this work.
Much of my FiM Fiction work is experimental writing. Trying new ways of doing things while also seeing if I can break free of my comfort zone of writing clean children's tales.

Later in his life spike thinks back to his early days " What's that Yosh doing today?"
Rarity answered "What's that Spikey poo, Ruby needs changed"
"Did you get those colt & filly books Twilight had on her list?
"There on back order dearest, The store just cant keep enough of them in stock"
Yosh today is in an office rolling in bits "I wonder what ol Spike's doin today?"
"Oh Gosh ! ..QUICK!..Rarity grab the fire extinguishers Ruby's burped again!"

It is also adorable how you have already come up with a name for Spike and Rarity's kids. I love Ruby as one of them. Very fitting and the interactions going on between Spike and Rarity as Spike thinks on what may be is simply wonderful. Far better than I ever imagined myself.
Yep! I've been trying to be a recognized children's book author for almost 6 years now. I have some self-published works but nothing in which has made me any money or notoriety. Though I'm thankful for my friends who have helped support me in my original works while I dabble in random fiction to test my limits, strengths, and weaknesses.

Thank you kindly for your time in reading this story. I'll admit it is far from my best work, but still one I was glad to try out.
I've lately been trying to help someone develop their orphan pony character, Fall. It has been an enjoyable experience. Plus it steers away from the overly cutesie, baby stuff.
