569039 Bipolar disorder is switching from major depression to manic moods, and those moods usually last for months at a time before they switch.
She actually exhibits multi-personality disorder aka disassociative personality disorder. Easily switching personalities and being completely unaware of the change. Although sometimes one personality is aware of the other.
Considering I watch waaaay too much Criminal Minds as well as other such cop shows like The Mentalist, Bones, and Law & Order I am glad I managed to do this. I feel cool.
Aww. Who says Trixie can't be creepy and sexual? Lol. I actually went through a lot of debate over who I thought the villain should be. Originally, I thought I should make it Little Strongheart. You know, a literal "Buffalo Bill"? But then I thought I was like: "I am stupid as buck and obviously spending too much time with my dumbass boyfriend." So I nixed that. I didn't want the killer to skin/wear the victims like Jame Gumb did in the original books because Pinkamena does that so it seemed like too much. When I decided Rarity was the victim, I worked from there. I also wanted the killer to be somepony the readers knew. So, Trixie. Lol.
Whatsup818 is right, its more like multiple personality disorder than bi-polar, but I can see why you thought the latter. Though, I don't have a specific condition in mind for Pinkamena because well, Pinkie Pie is so random. Lol. Honestly, I like to leave her condition vague and her motivations confusing because it is kind of what makes her fun.
YEAH YOU DID! I am glad, I was worried that people wouldn't like her. I didn't want to make her too intelligent and lose all the Pinkie in her. If that makes sense. Hee hee. I think FlutterMac is cuuuute~! So I threw it in. A little hetero in my homo.
this is coming along great, i love reading all of these fics about crazy ponies. Aren't they so fun to write?! Also, are you by any chance a james patterson fan? your writing style seems very similar to that way he writes his detective novels.
Whaa, I do too. I like to take cartoon characters and break their psyche. My Little Pony gives me a lot to work with! Lol. Nah, I haven't read anything by James Patterson, though I am aware who he is. I am completely flattered that you think I sound like a published author though.
You know why I like this? Because it's like read an episode of Criminal minds, mixed with CSI. And that's awesome!
I like your Pinkamena. That's the only thing I have to say about her... for now.
And I think I know what all those unicors have in common [Evil laugh]
P.S: You got my interest. Don't lose it.
Trixie as the Horn Hawker? Not a bad fit, but I was hoping for a stallion. You know, for the creepy sexual arena of the thing.
That said, you're doing well.
I am really enjoying your story. I really can't wait to see more
Sweet, a new chapter. Keep up the good work

I KNEW it was Trixie.
I notice how, while Hannibal was very witty, Pinkamena here is very... playful. Very fitting.
Also, dat FlutterMac.
