I'd say the first in the series was very much so, the second a bit awkward but only as much as it should be in the circumstances, and this one a liittle generic (for a given fetish anyway) until near the end. Generally excellent.

I found the sex in this one completely unappealing. I think it is because you've successfully portrayed Sunset and Shimmer as complete bitches, even if one of them is now better; that is just intensely unattractive.

I started reading this series expecting some mediocre clop at best, but each subsequent chapter delivered a hard, stinging slap to that initial notion. Not only was it well written from a purely technical standpoint, but the plot, as well the interactions between the characters and their inner musings, truly intrigued me.

I will definitely be looking forward to the next instalment

On a side note, if not for your other popular story, I most likely wouldn't give this one--or rather three--a chance. This is yet another example why one should not judge a story (especially one involving the infamous, waifu-stealing Flash Sentry) based only on its popularity and rating... some people should have their voting privilege revoked I think

No, that's a reasonable request. The first two stories do hint at things but (I would argue) are mired fully in the Sad tag, while the last two stories are very open about the dark stuff. This one straddles the line enough that I can definitely see why you'd want some forewarning. Dark tag added.

If this sort of thing really does get to you, I'm going to do what no sane author does and advise you to stop reading, since Shimmer isn't getting any better from here on out.
