WingsOnTheBus

85% of the genuinely happy thoughts I've had in the past year have related to ponies. I am way too proud of this.

Twilight suspects that something is wrong with Celestia after her brother's wedding. There is--something very, very wrong, but unfortunately, solving the problem will not be nearly as simple as she expected.

Well, I'm intrigued...

Something must be seriously wrong for the princesses to give Twilight the cold shoulder like that; it doesn't seem like them at all. Colour me intrigued.

Thanks! Good to know someone's interested. :yay:

Celestia’s voice, cool and contained: “I need to be alone.”
“And I need to raise the moon. So we are at odds.”

That, and the personal tension of Luna's warning to Twilight, are quite a nice hook. I'm not sure you've sold Twilight's need to handle this alone — wouldn't her friends be more inclined to believe her, after she punched open the changeling conspiracy? — but let's see where this goes.

Thank you!
And yes, now that you mention it, I suppose they would. It was more of just a fleeting thought to push her towards the suspicion that Chrysalis had replaced Celestia. Then she just wanted to gather some intel on her own to make sure because, well, one pony is quieter than six.

Glad you're interested!
And we shall see about that...:trollestia:

I like dark, but I don't generally go for such things set in the present. Too hard to get right, and too easy to go overboard. You've struck a note of unnerving which resonates well. Looking forward to see where this develops, once it gets into gear.

I'm pretty sure, considering the experience you seem to have, that that is literally the best compliment I have ever received.
Well, okay, hyperbolically. But still. :derpytongue2: So thank you and I'll keep that in mind!

:trixieshiftright: interested!
