This is a very interesting story.This story really touch base with me because I have lost family in the past from wanting to be a mix couple. So to see this gives me mix emotions but I still really liked it. I would love to see this explored more, I think it would be interesting to see Spike and Rarity going through the struggles of trying to be a mix couple in their small town. Other than an age difference I don't say a problem with Sparity. Now I thought about the species difference and that adds another level difference. In the real world the only thing comparable would be racial difference.
Civil and political rights are subjects that I hold dear to my heart and I wanted to explore it a little in this short fiction. The story is set in the American South before the Land mark case of Loving V. Virginia.
My own family is sitting on the verge of conflict because of an interracial relationship. So, I was emotionally involved in the fiction short as it is.

It was also a interesting story due to the fact that unlike any other time it is done of a issue between Spike and Rarity it was them in human form which makes it much more relatable to the reader. I know this was prob a oneshot story. But with your style and feeling behind it I would love to see you do a series following these two and the hardships they would have just to be with the one they love.
This story is so sad. I'm with Dragon Pony, I think this story needs to be elaborated on. Its a fresh look at Sparity and I think it would make a very interesting tale.
Or maybe I just want to see you write more.

i found the SOME clop is ok if it is written well and focuses on the paring and the love they share just as much if not more than on the sex, i like clop with depth, like you i want the fic to feel like it was written by a human with a beating heart and a emotional mind.

I've read slash fiction before and I like to read how a relationship could develop and different peoples ideas about how said relationship could work. Some of it did involve sex but, I never really focused on it.

I had trouble reading most of this, I couldn't understand some things, I can't tell if it's because the story was written a bit rushed, or because I have poor eyes, but I couldn't make out some of the sentences, they just didn't click, Either way wonderful story.
