Gilda's last visit to Ponyville was a lousy one. She hurt the feelings of the residents, yelled at Fluttershy, and worst of all, lost her best friend Rainbow Dash. So she tries to go back and make amends with the ones she's hurt but runs into some trouble along the way. And when she finally earns their forgiveness, she'll need them to face her ultimate struggle: her father.

Whenever I read a story about Gilda's depressing childhood, I feel the urge to go into that universe and murder the ones who caused her the pain.

Rest is interesting so far
I like the idea, but the story isn't flowing naturally. It's all very choppy. A first person perspective allows for you to go into more detail with the character. Here it sounds like she's skimming over a biography about someone else's life and it doesn't feel personal to her. Otherwise a fine story and one I will continue to read.
