Every weekend or so, I'm going to be writing a quick little story based on some suggestions provided over at Ponychan's /oat/ board. To avoid cluttering up my userpage with several short stories, I'm going to post them all as chapters of this story.

An interesting idea. It's not to hard to imagine losing her magic would be devastating to Twilight.
I do feel like like the story needed a lot more detail about why her friends and family would disown her though. And honestly, I'm not sure what you could possibly do to get Fluttershy to give up on anypony.
There also seems to be someone missing - little short dude, purple and green scales, breathes fire, Twilight Sparkle is the center of his entire existence?
In my eyes, generosity is given for free. Rarity is not giving it for free, or for pity, or for feeling guilty, or for having a teacher for her daughter, or something else. In a way she is worse than Twilight, because she is destoying her element by acting. And the worst part is that she surely thinks she does something good ! :-(.

No, my problem is that she gains something from it. She is not giving it for free, she has Hintergedanken (ulterior motives). And I don’t mean her daughter. I believe she does it for feeling better herself.

That certainly was short and (bitter)sweet. I would have liked to see this expanded out a little more so as to explore Twilight's past and recovery a little more. As it is now, it feels a bit... abrupt.
(As a side note, Gererosity would not happen to be autobiographical would it?)

Ditsy is written with all the grace of a sledgehammer. Which given the character should work, if you weren't such a sloppy hack.
