This was supposed to be Symphony's night. She was going to be the star, and finally everypony would be talking about her. All her dreams about living in Canterlot and fitting into its high-class society would come true the moment she took the stage. She was going to reminded everypony that Octavia wasn't the only pony who had played at the garden party.
But then Symphony found out that she's not as unique as she thought, and now her dreams are breaking around her. How far will she go to save them?

Oh...oh wow. You actually went and read Symphony's story. I must admit I'm surprised, but also very happy that you took the time. And left a comment!
Yeah, the ending is a real downer, but it's not over (obviously, since Symphony is in 'Life in the Inner Wing). The sequel 'Shattered' picks up literally where this story stops.
And I will go fix that typo too!

Not really on this story. It was just written for a writing exercise, and it didn't end up being very popular. No pony really knows who Symphony is, so very few actually wanted to read it. Besides, if the best story I wrote on here (Who am I?) wasn't even good enough to warrant a generic, "Sorry, but we're not interested" from EQD, I highly doubt this one would do any better.
Glad you think it's worth it though. I really do like writing about Symphony--and by extension, Sea Swirl.
