I hope you got something more. Air to air combat is exsiting yes but you need to have something more then F-16 fighters vs MiG to call this a story. How could RD have walked thorth the whole air traing with out any hands? And how was she able to be the squat-leader?

The plot you are using now is vage and confusing for the readers. How was the ponies able to come to the human world is an good exsaple. Try in the next chapter to filled in the plot more. We need information, and you have the info we needed. To say this: we aren't you. We can't think like you.

What shitty planes were the U.S. flying!? I mean, MIGs owning American pilots like that is VERY unlikely! Unless they were using shitty, outdated planes, the U.S. should've have AT LEAST been able to wipe out half that enemy squadron before they fell apart. The U.S. Air Force has the best trained pilots and the most advance fighter jets in the world.

Point is, they wouldn't have gone down that easy, or they would at least have put up a better fight than that gagglef**k!

hmmm... wondering where this is gonna go. It's really quite boring at the moment, and doesn't seem to be really building any plot to it (it really sounds more like you just set up a background to start a story in Equestria... and that's it)

Sometimes a good story isn't over, it just ends. This story focuses around a specific moment in Dash's life. It raises a lot of questions and that is ok, because if done well it let's the viewers mind wander and explore the story on their own. This story pulled that off decently but I agree a little more background would work wonders. Personally I would have added a bit more to the fighting to make Dash seem like a more competent flyer.

As for how she flew I just added, in my mind, the hooks that totalynotabrony used as a story mechanic.

A good perspective on the soldier looking for home.  I appreciate your work good sir.
