I think the personality of spike was very out of place. Bone the accepts instantly that twilight is sacrificed to couple bring the pony back as if nothing.
When is she the only friend that looks and feels the same pain she for the other ponies.
4002444 I uh...couldn't really make out much of your comment after the first sentence, so I will only respond to Spike's behavior. It's been 12,000 years since they left. That's alot of time for someone to change, and even though Spike and Twilight are friends, She is still the Queen and he still must listen to her as such.

It feels epic, even without knowing the exacts of the before and between. The concept of sequels interests me, but I think even a prequel would be an interesting read as well.
I suppose Twilight could always try to argue that they are "needed" now, since she needs them as friends?
