After the defeat of Nightmare Moon the thestrals were scattered to the most remote corners of the world In deep caves and forgotten mountains they lived, isolated from the outside world. As a thousand years past the rest of the world forgot them, and the thestrals grew stagnant in their isolation.
As the outside world grows and expands, their once isolated homes become less remote. As outside forces begin to invade, one thestral is forced from her home to seek aid and reunite the fragmented thestral clans on the eve of Nightmare Moon's return.
Takes place a few months before episode 1.

This was originally going to be put in the story later, but chapter 3 is taking longer than I had planned. I want to update every Saturday, but it wouldn't have been ready in time so I posted this instead. It takes place before the first chapter so I guess it makes sense to put it here.

4197751 Well yeah I am. Also, how doyou pretend to be a Discordian? It's rediculously loose and doesn't even require exclusivity. I'm also Roman Catholic for example, and I can reconcile the two together very easily. For example the Curse of Grey comes from humans trying to break something as complex and vast beyond all comprehension as the Universe down into easy to understand simple parts that are perfectly defined and categorized. And then something like matter/energy equivilance or light wave/photon duality comes out and proves the Universe can't be broken down into simple ideas. Likewise God and his works are beyond mortal comprehension, and to claim to truly understand is hubris. People can only try their best to understand God in their own personal way.

I don't know if this counts as a spoiler, but Twilight is the one who defeats Nightmare Moon in the end, so she will be having an impact on the story later on.
