I like the story, but who are Shine and Gothic?

But to put it simply, Shine is Celestia's husband, and Gothic is Luna's husband.

3882489 Yes. That was exactly who I was thinking of when I made him. And you will see more of Caboose's tomfoolery in later chapters.
You'd think the others would have been smart enough to pack a mirror if they specifically knew they were going after a cockatrice, then again they gave Caboose a crossbow in the first place... so their intelligence was debatable for some time.
This is just funny to read. I can't wait for the next chapter. I wonder what is going to happen when O'Malley comes out to play.

Twenty years?! This story is twenty years after the Gala? And he was still an a** until he met Dusty? I guess it goes to show, anypony is willing to change when the right pony of the opposite sex comes along. Now I'm glad I didn't read any of the prior stories. I like redeemable Blueblood at lot better than Blueblood the bung hole.

3977305 I am sorry to say that Caboose will not end up with Pinkie. Pinkie is already married to a pony named 'Cherry Fizzy' (Check The Young Prince to find out about him).
As for Caboose, he will be getting a mare in the next story. Who she will be? You will have to wait and find out. You will be pleasantly surprised.
