It has been... four years since my return during the Summer Sun Celebration and my subsequent defeat the self same day. I woke up to find myself wandering the plane between the living and the dead, unable to cross over and unable to return and seek my vengeance on the ponies that sent me here.
Yet... I find this time here in limbo most informative as I watch the living go about their lives and I discover I can still enter the dreams of those who sleep. Their screams are some reprieve from my situation but for the fourth time I see Hearth's Warming I find myself feeling something... a feeling I can not stand as it makes me reconsider my standing and my goals.

On another note. If she can enter dreams from Limbo... does that mean she had 'showdowns' with Luna too? I mean she brought nightmares to ponies sleep while its Lunas job to fight the same nightmares back.
well spmeone seems to be making good progress^^ I really have to give credit to that first filly though. Its quite suprising she could tell Nightmare Moon from Luna given that she seemed to be utterly unknown by ponies upon her return^^

As for the filly, this is four years after she was defeated by the Mane 6 and as Nightmare Night showed, there are statues of her. It isn't hard for a filly of that age to notice the differences between Luna and Nightmare Moon.

it was awesome. I mean I love how Nightmares personality and view on life Transformed throughout the fic. But if you make a stabler story later where luna finally gets a new body, I don't doubt that a lot of pony fans would jump on it.
