350834 If I recall, I'm always seeing ponies pick up or manipulate things with their hooves that they shouldn't be able to. Best example I could think of is Season 2, Episode 2, when Applejack takes her hat off of her head after seeing Discord's vision.

Darn, I knew I was not being very clear when I said that. I was talking about this sentence to specifically point out their lack of thumbs, I didn't mean that they can't hold stuff.

No you are doing a really good job, Luna's situation was extremely sad and that is what I am sad about. You are capturing the correct amount very well.
There needs to be a Luna emoticon. One with a person's arms around her, giving her a hug. Telling her, "Everything's gonna be OK."

It's sad, but it's kind of sweet, too. There's a lot of fan speculation on this period of time, obviously, and while there are a lot of huge, sprawling tales that take this exploration in an epic direction, which is fine in its own right, it's also nice to see a simpler, more concentrated version that probably, honestly, is closer to the sort of thing the canon would do if they ever chose to depict this moment.
569682 In all honesty, I had intended for it to run a bit longer and the ending, while not perfect, was decent. The whole theory of the power of the Elements of Harmony being amplified by the number of wielders was something I just came up with.
I also think I didn't get deep enough into Luna's mind to explain why she lashed out at Celestia, but it gets the point across that she was upset and acted brashly.

I dont understand why this has not been featured and doesn't have 700+++ marks.
I'm not even saying that just for anything....I loved this fiction, it was right on par with the greats, a few minor grammatical errors but hell, nothing is perfect.
I think I like this explanation of the Nightmare events better than any of the others I have heard.
