This story is a sequel to True Flight
This story is a sequel to my story True Flight and is basically, as the short description says, a continuation of that universe. I'll be posting any other stories I think of in this universe, rather than create a new story for them. Most of them will be one shots, and occasionally there might be a longer story that spans a few chapters. Expect slice of life, a little romance, and everything you hoped to see me do with the world I made. The first story is one for Hearth's Warming Eve and I have one planned for Heart's and Hooves Day. Outside that I'm not sure, and can't guarantee any kind of update schedule. If I get an idea, and write it, I'll put it here.
Tagged alternate universe because, heck, I made an alternate universe. This story, much like the ones before it, disregard S3 and, of course, S4. The cover art is a recolour I made.

Then you come out with this and my brain was screaming "YES! MORE FOOD! AND IT COMES WITH DESERT!" so I am pleased by this and wait patiently for more.
Sorry. Had a lot to do today. Also went back to 'Future' to read Star Shine's description to make sure that pony with Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo in the art for this story was indeed Star Shine.
Anyway, nice little story. I imagine Scootaloo wants her ability to fly to be a sort of Hearth's Warming present for Star Shine. That will be nice (yet screwed up depending on how much time 'til Hearth's Warming.)
I love how Scoot insists on calling Star Shine 'dad'.' After all, he has been more of a father to her than her real one.
Random question: How we, in any way, going to see how DT adjusts from being a neglected, rich foal to a poor one that is obviously cared for?

I expect this story will actually never be marked complete as this is where I plan to put every other story I write in this universe. Unless I get the idea for an amazing story that definitely deserves it's own story. I'll title each chapter accordingly so that you know when I'm switching stories and will of course post them in chronological order. Don't worry about me stopping a story halfway through to give you another story.

So, Grey Feather got the punishment he deserves. He got to see Scootaloo fly while he no longer could. She has a happy, loving family while he rotted in jail. He became completely consumed by guilt and practically lost his mind. He was lucky Diamond Tiara came along so he could finally pass on. I believe it was his guilt that was keeping him alive.
Speaking of Diamond, I'm so glad to see her again. That she was able to heal and prosper. I don't ever expect Scootaloo to forgive her, but at least she is trying to make up for it by trying to help others.

He lived a lonely and unloved life and died in the throes of insanity, alone without even realising it. He died a pathetic shadow of his former self. I think it's pretty dark. I was planning on him dying alone but I guess I couldn't go through with it in the end.
