Now that everything is much better, Fluttershy is now confronted with some saddening news; Rainbow wants to break up and get back together with Applejack.

Okay. My own feelings aside, I thought this is a well written story, all the punctuation was correct. Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash went a little out of character, but not too much.
My feelings now. WHY?!?! WHY COULDNT RAINBOW DASH JUST DUMP APPLEJACK AND BE WITH FLUTTERSHY?!???!???!??

Putting aside that not even most adults can make polyamory work, this... will be glorious. Multi-chapter, please!
Good story. I myself don't believe poly is feasible, but I'd never judge anyone for trying to make it work.

Sorry about the outburst just had to let that out. This story was really cute with a "dash" of sadness and well written. Nice ending, it leaves everyone thinking what's going to happen.

Am I the only one who thought Rainbow Dash was seriously going to leave Fluttershy? I swear, if that happened, I don't know what I would've done. I mean, the whole poly thing was kind of strange, but I was really happy with this story. Keep up the good work. (By the way, I swear I've read something else from you, but I'm not sure what.)
i really do enjoy this, and i hope a sequel is on the way. personally, i would have AJ reject Rainbow, and have Fluttershy comfort her.
but thats just me.

I for one am open to the poly ending, actually like it. Always seen apple dash as one of the most feasible pairings, not a big fan of flutter dash since Flutters seems to have a huge fan crush on RD.
Although saving her from stuff and being so supportive most of the time, Rainbow doesn't treat her like a fan I guess. And if you take I to account how heros usually get the girl that opens a door for them too.
5810573 Fluttershy has a fan crush on RD? I don't mean any disrespect, but where and when has that ever been an idea? If anything, the one with a fan crush on RD would probably be Pinkie. Fluttershy clearly admires Rainbow's skills and is very supportive, but I never took her as being a fan type to her. Not really sure where her being a fan would really come into play. But maybe that's just me.

5810876 well to be honest I kinda thought it was canon that most of ponyville had some level of fan crush for RD. Heck her birthday was celebrated like a holiday. I suppose my main quip for flutterdash is that I feel she's too submissive for RD, and hence why I'm a bigger fan or apple or sparkle (or even rares) over flutter.
Don't get me wrong though, I can sorta see it work better when considering the much softer side of Dash and the more confident Flutters, especially as a fluff relationship it's sweet.
Also I forgot to mention that I thought this was pretty well wrote and enjoyed this EG story :)
