A mix of humor or drama, depending on what each new episode calls for. Unrelated to my other fics. May have occasional appearances by other characters.

We're off to a nice start here. I think your portrayal of Spike has him a bit more mature than the show's Spike, but that's perfectly fine by me. You Rarity is just-about spot-on though, and this definitely seems like a conversation they could have if they were to have a lunch date. So, I'll be watching this story. Cheers.

It is small and cute, and I don't think you need Shipping Goggles to see it here. Maybe you have yours on a bit tight too? I always love the way you portray the both of them, a rare treat to be sure.

But I'm going to let the show guide me here. Spike liking Rarity is a given. What exactly Rarity feels in return is open to interpretation. Going to strive to keep this series in tune with whatever the current episodes are implying, so I'll likely be avoiding any real obvious romance. (Unless something miraculous happens.) 
This seems promising, I love what you've done for only the first chapter and I can't wait to see more.
As long as Season 4 keeps on being awesome I should no reason to expect anything less then outstanding from this fic. Do not disappoint me.

3543122 Spike's maturity fluctuates in very odd ways. It depends on the episode. I blame the show writers for really having no idea what to do with his character half the time.

I wonder if Spike would have helped ease Rarity's anxiety even further by pointing out that it was natural to feel upset over losing something that was basically the platonic equivalent of a wedding ring.
Haven't read many episode-by-episode lowdowns like this, but it promises to be a good one (and more down-to-earth than Letters from a Disgruntled Friendship Student). It should be interesting watching you explore the characteristics of these two in a normal, everyday context whilst genres are provided on a weekly basis.
