This is a great idea, but it was far too rushed.
Short but good
The Mirror did not show destiny, I think, but desire. It reflected Sunset's ego back at her. What the Element of Magic revealed that Sunset was no potential alicorn princess. Because of the narcissistic and malignant nature of her personality... she was a Nightmare.
Very good comparison of Twilight and Sunset - one never sure of her worth to the point she over-exaggerates her weaknesses and the other over-sure of her worth to the point where it blinds her to her weaknesses and leaves her vulnerable to being consumed by them.
