Ey, there is nothing wrong with them at all. I'll admit that they can get to be a bit much, but as long as the writer gives a good reason and strong support for them being a lesbian, they can ship anypony as whatever sexuality.
Braeburn and Spitfire though... I could almost see these two as relatives. Not one to read much about Braeburn, but I'll give this a read.

There is nothing wrong with that, a good romance needs build up and shouldn't happen on the spot, Crowley is a prefect example of this. so don't worry about rushing the romance let it bloom slowly and it will be that much sweeter in the end

I'm all about the rarepairs, but you have problems here. And they start with the ENTIRE fic written in an accent that isn't even Braeburn's. "Ah" everywhere isn't necessary in his own dialogue, let alone in an entire chapter from his point of view. This is rendering your fic unreadable. It`s very difficult to appreciate the nuances of Braeburn's life if I can't parse a simple sentence any more.
Also, your formatting is off. If you're going to double space your paragraphs, please continue that formatting for your dialogue.
Ok, I've only just started, but I'm gonna voice a gripe I'm already having.
We have imaginations, you do not need to type "ah" for "I" or "ma" for "my". We know what Braeburn sounds like and frankly I find reading dialogue like that a putoff.

This doesn't sound like a good shipping so far. Braeburn with wanderlust and Spitfire ready for domestication? They're opposites in that regard. I just can't see this working out, unless one of the two changes their stance regarding their current lot in life. I anticipate with reserved eagerness how you will write these two. Will they come together, or will they break apart?

I'm not entirely sure if you intend to continue this, though it is nice to know you're still alive, still here, and still writing (in that order). Though I imagine you have your priorities, I did want to say I like this fic thus far, for the most part. It's also the only FireBurn fic I know of. I'd write one myself, but trying to figure out how two ponies with sparse screentime would interact is... not fun for me.

I'm so pleased to see that this has updated after so long! When I saw the notification I was over the moon with happiness. Anyway, this was a nice chapter to get things back on track, and seeing the roadies and Wonderbolts being goofballs was a treat; I especially loved Silver Lining trying to get Soarin back into bed, and Surprise's dream (excellent chapter title by the way). Keep up the good work- I eagerly await the next update. ^u^
This chapter was perfect! I know I've said it before but I just LOVE the interactions between all the characters. The Wonderbolts are like a big family, looking out for each other while simultaneously teasing one another, and the dynamic between Braeburn and his friends is awesome as well! I love Pout by the way ^u^. But I'm looking forward to seeing Braeburn meeting some of the other Wonderbolts; it's gonna be a lot of fun to read, my friend. And I'm intrigued to meet this Shamrock character...
Another great chapter! I love how well Braeburn and JD get along with Soarin and Silver Lining- it's gonna be great to have a chapter focusing solely on their interactions. But all these new characters you're mentioning sound pretty entertaining, particularly the "lovable drunk". The next chapter is gonna be a blast. xD
Oh just caught up with the last three chapters and all I can ask is. Does JD have a best friend name Turk and they have a guy love?
