Great start. Well balanced. Fun style. I think one of the reasons so many people love Rainbow Dash is that despite her high self opinion we all know that beneath is an excellent heart that is insecure and a soul that will laugh at itself faster than you can. I love it when good writers explore those secondary areas.
All the Mane 6 have their flaws but that's why we love them. The personification of feelings is a clever device and well employed especially as a character link between Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo. Great scene with Fluttershy!

I can totally see how this has gotten no downvotes yet. This story is awesome, although I can't help but want to smack Dash for not remembering that she said she was Scoots sister. As well as ignoring everything about her other than when it comes time to fluff her ego. She doesn't know if she has family, what she likes, or any other part of her life. I'm disappointed in her, but I'm looking forward to seeing if she ever salvages what she's ruined.

You know this would've been a great spot to throw the reformed Discord in. Instead of Applejack using the reverse psychology trick on Rainbow Dash, it could've been Discord to be all "oh, you don't care about that flightless little Pegasus filly, and why should you?"
What IDIOT disliked this story! This is golden! This is perfect! This is awesome! That one person who disliked this story needs to be slapped across the face.
This was very heartwarming, and a very realistic tale of Rainbow Dash realizing what it's like to be a true sister, and how much Scootaloo truly needs her.

This is what sleepless in ponyville was missing. Rainbow Dash absolutely has the will and loyalty to be a good sister, but not the patience or emotional intelligence. Kind of like rarity at the beginning of Sisterhooves social.
