As you might have noticed; i am a Ditzy finatic. (what? she's flippin awesome!) I enjoy writing Fanfics, and will continue doing so until i get good enough to publish a full story. 
On the way to Zecora's, the CMC have a run-in with a very ill-temprerd manticore. Fortunately for them, they are saved by a giant snake, but not before the surpent is gravely injured. The CMC decide to help the serpent by taking it to the pony that has the most experience with wild animals.

good chapter i who'd say, the story line did progress a bit fast and alot of thing happened in this one chapter but still it didn't feel forced or rushed.
good to see you gave some linguistic problem with the snake, I think it makes it more interesting in communications where hampered in some way.

Lovely story so far. Id love to have a snake like Kenny. Given how small ponies are compared to humans a very large Anaconda like Kenny would seem absolutely huge. But I think Kenny's description makes him look more like a titanoboa. Those could become over 40ft long and 7ft thick. Maybe Kenny is a very young titanoboa and he will grow larger xD.
Thankfully my dislike for this story is not proportional to the amount of dead ponies.
