Just your friendly neighborhood Salnalus. Writing stories and pointless blog posts. Feel free to check them out, and stuff.

Inspiration can be found anywhere. You just have to look hard enough. However, even the most complex of things can be found right in front of you. That is a lesson Rarity must learn when she can't seem to think of a good design to please her clients. All she needed was a small break from the norm to look deeper into what was already in front of her. The lesson she learns comes from a surreal source, one she did not expect.

Thanks to Soothing Stone for proofreading this for me.

I gave her a smile yellow dress as a gift.

Did you mean simple?

Enjoyed it anyway! I love RariLuna stories.

I hate it when mistakes slip past me...
Thanks for pointing that out, and glad you enjoyed it! This is the first story in my RariLuna series that I am going to write after finishing up with my other two stories.

Thank you. I aim to keep each character as much in character as possible.

Umm... fine by me. I'll take what I can.

I loved it. It was simple, sweet, and very much in character for all of them. I loved how Luna helped Rarity, and the CMC and Twilight were fun to read as well.

My suggestion for later fics is to not go down the romance path. There's a few billion romance fics out there, and I think that making a non-romance fic of two ponies becoming good friends would be much more interesting and have much more potential.

Just my £0.02.

Thank you for the comment. It's nice to hear thoughts.

As for the romance thing, it will be in my next story, but along the series of stories I'm going to be writing, there will be mostly non-romance stories. Also, out of all the romances you see out there, how many of them have you seen of Rarity and Princess Luna? Even from searching, I only found one. So I am gong to attempt to start this pairing in a good way. For now, only one romance story is planned with probably some one-shots or other plain friendshipping stories. This story was just to test out putting them both together (not in a shipping way) and seeing if it would work out. I really loved writing it, even if it's not as good as I thought it would be.

Very sweet. I could see thi going either shippy or friendshippy. Either way I'm looking forward to it:twilightsmile:

The current work: I find it to be good, you use all of your details and had a good dialogue for it. It was still a one shot though, and so I can't really say much more with the small example of your work.
If turned into a ship: I feel it would be an innocent one if framed after this.
If friendship based: Would be a good story, but being that it involves my favorite two ponies, it's probably just my bias speaking.

Interesting interactions between both characters
