This is very good as just one chapter. The emotions and feelings are all there, and the last paragraph serves as a good end.
I loved the story and I can relate to the feeling of stress from life being so much that you wish you could be a kid again. I actually envy Twilight in your story, as odd as that sounds. Sometimes I feel like breaking, but I can't, I don't have the luxury in my line of work, and I have to remain internal.
I loved it! It's nice seeing Twilight treat Spike like this, showing she actually cares about him.

Thank you; I kind of did that on purpose, seeing as I wasn't sure when I'd be able to get the second chapter up; I wanted it to be able to stand by itself in case it took me a while to finish it.
I think we all have those moments, and we'd be really lucky to have someone like Twilight does... Yeah. Doesn't really sound odd. I kind of envy her too
