UhOh

T
Source

It started with a letter from Spike.

"Twilight in trouble. Send help!"

Everything has gone wrong. Sombra should never have been so powerful, he was only a shadow of his former self—it was the perfect test for Twilight! Luna had questioned her judgement but she’d been so sure, and now everything has gone horribly, horribly wrong.

AU ending to the Crystal Empire Part 2.

Brilliantly done and you made me cry which is not an easy thing to do. :pinkiesad2:

R.I.P Twilight Sparkle. :fluttercry:

Just wow!
Did not expect that. :fluttercry:
Immediate favourite from me and you just got a new follower.

:fluttercry: I think I'm goin to go cry now.

Celestia should have realized that could have happened, especially with Twilight willingness to go the extra mile to protect those she loves.

Jesus that was breath taking. Amazing

Excuse me for a moment....:fluttercry::raritycry:....Ok I'm good.:pinkiesad2:

No... NO! THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING! TWILIGHT! GET UP! GET UP TWILIGHT!
*sobs*

Blue Moon: :ajsleepy: it's Ok, Thunder Rift. Let it out.
Pinkie Pie: :pinkiesad2:hey, why don't we write a song? That always seems to cheer you up.
Me: :unsuresweetie:O-ok...

*at their next concert, Pinkie guest sings*
Me: I'd like to dedicate this to a dear friend of ours, who sacrificed herself to save equestria.
*plays 'If only tears could bring you back to me'*

My 'sister'.
Read Pink Thunder.

"She'd so much hope." God damn it. God damn it. I lurched, for I had to clutch at my heart.
Of anything that I got from this little tale was the ward. That damn ward! From the explanation that Twilight gave to the princess, it sounds like some high powered magic, which definitely warrants a delving into the depths of the subject. If anything, I think you should delve deeper into this kind of magic, as your description definitely gave wet my appetite.

Its too early for these feels.

Her hooves beat out a tattoo of haste against the marble floor

Can that word be used there? I thought it was usually staccato.

I know what you mean, I woke up to read something quickly before needing to go somewhere. Now my day will be melancholy till I can read something else. :fluttershbad:

A beer of coarse.

</3 There goes my heart :raritycry:

Can that word be used there? I thought it was usually staccato.

Yes. Yes it can.

Interesting, never much heard it used in such away. I have always just associated it with ink being placed under that skin.

Oh you bastard. Why did you kill best pony!? :raritycry:
:fluttercry::fluttershbad::fluttershyouch:. . .:pinkiesad2:

Ok, im better now. Have a thumb, favorite and follower. You earned them.

This...This needs to have so many more than 108 likes. Beautiful story :fluttercry:

Thank you for reading, I'm sorry I made you all sad. (Although I'm mostly not sorry because that was sort of my intention all along.) I think I racked up a lot of crying Fluttershy emotes which is good because tears fuel the creative process.

I agree. Of course something this dark would never happen in the show but Twilight was willing to have Spike take the heart and fail the test--something that in her worst nightmare ended in her no longer being the princess's student.

Now I want to write epitaphs for all the ponies.

I am debating posting another chapter to this story that would fill in the gap between finding the Crystal Heart and Celestia's arrival but I think this might work best as a one shot. Still, I do have several other stories in the works and they're all magic-heavy/Twilight-centric/world-building pieces so hopefully you've not seen the last of me.

Yep, what Lunae Lumen said. Although, admittedly, it's usually more common to use in relation to a heartbeat or a drumbeat.

If I missed you thank you for commenting and reading this story. Hopefully one of my longer stories will be done soon and I'll be able to post it. However, I'm no newcomer to fanfiction and I've learned my lesson; no posting epic adventure stories until they're completed or I'll never complete them.

I do have a tumblr though and it has a couple of drabbles and glimpses into WIPs if anyone is interested.

Okay, that's it. I hope I did the multiple comment response thing correctly. :twilightsheepish:

Today I learned that to be creative I need to feed off the tears of others.

It was interesting to see. I like reading stories that use words in correct ways I have not seen before. It only grows my vocabulary; now if only I can remember what words to use at what times.

What is it with my eyes watering everytime I read a deep and beautifully touching fanfic. Oh, this filled me up. A great sacrifice made a great friend, student, sister, etc. :pinkiesad2:

I gotta say, this didn't really do it for me. I don't think it would even if I wasn't half-asleep, though it would certainly have been better. Don't get me wrong- it's a very good story. When she asked to see the sunrise one last time, that almost brought a feeling. Ultimately, though, there's no getting past the fact that I'm just insensitive when it comes to this sort of thing.

I never asked for these feels.

Oh gawd who put this bowl of onions and feels next to me? :raritycry: Cause my eyes are sweating water. ;__; I wasn't prepared for this level of feels. Bravo author on your writing skills.

I hate you...

You say these things but I don't believe yoooooouuuu! :rainbowkiss:

Also I really need to edit this again.

I might have to stop reading things with the 'Sad' tag for a while, after this one. Ow. Excellent work! :raritycry:

That was some pretty heavy stuff right there. The part where Celestia mentioned Starswirl's journal was probably the part I found the most tragic.

Despite how well this was written, you still get a down vote.

I seldom find stories where the main characters die worthy. I'm sorry, but her death is the sole reason you get a thumbs down.

sad story but kind of want to see like 3000 year late and some how twilight come back to life,

7321692 i agree in fantasy such sacrifices never go unrewarded with some kind of resurrection of the hero
