To be honest, I only noticed the joke myself after I wrote the comment, which amused me to no ends. (At that point I added the smiley as well
But yes, I truly liked the story.
I can't help but feel Twilight is cheating, what she is doing isn't any different that what she has already done as a unicorn when falling down the Cristal Empire stairs. I kind of expected the answer to be that she was over thinking it and she just needed to relax and do it by heart instead of thinking how to do each steep.
