This is... interesting. Though shipping is more amusing than alluring for me, this chapter isn't bad at all. It'll be interesting to see how this story goes.
Some minor things, structuring could use a little work. A couple of grammar errors in the mix, but it can be overlooked.
All in all, this looks good, and I'm looking forward to later installments

I decided to go the route where I explained that Rainbow Dash only had fleeting feelings for Vinyl Scratch, I have still yet to decide on how she confronts her, so she hasn't been "heartless" yes. I'm using the comments I receive right now to fix a proper ending to the story. Thank you
9323 I don't even know for sure what I'm going to go with. The story has the "unfinished" feeling because chapter 6 I was only able to have a lot about Rainbow Dash. I don't recall seeing an old version but I've grown to like this story as well as your other stories.
Only thing I can think of saying to possibly improve this chapter would be to fix the Italics that seem to take control of the last third or so of the chapter. Other than that it's great.

Excellent story. I loved the interaction between Dash and Scratch. This must be the hardest feat she's ever had to accomplish.
I especially loved how Pinkie added to the scene instead of distracting from it. Even her sudden appearance furthered more interaction. "And then I was all like

In the next Appleshy, there will be a slight update to Rainbow and Vinyl's relationship, possibly a whole chapter dedicated to an update on Vinyl and Dashie. Due to the two other stories I'm working on that are unrelated to Appleshy/A Heart For 2, it may take a me a little to do a good amount of work in Appleshy 7, though I have started on it. realy liked the first chapter and I'm happy that worked her dropping feelings for Soarin into it, you dont see that in many fanfictions
