After the untimely passing of his mother, a young colt and his father move to a boomtown located in the Badlands, where he meets and befriends a group of ponies that will join him on the path to becoming the ultimate heroes, and defenders of Equestria. With their judgement skewed by events of their past, will they make the proper choices for the betterment of Equestria, or will they become the very things they sought to destroy?

Rainbow Dash was rather happy to have been bought by a human. Of course, her pleasure was quickly changed out for annoyance when said human turns out to be a teenage male. It gets worst when she deals with three particular robot action figures, one who thinks the world will end any day now and the other who would give a certain President a run for his money in paranoia. The third just wants to learn fighting moves from video games. However, she just might warm up to her new owner when she discovers how much he needs a confidence boost from a Rainbow.

Twilight Sparkle was headed to the Canterlot Historical Revisionists Convention, when a lightning bolt struck her Starswirl the Bearded costume. Forced to find a quick replacement, she spots a pony selling costumes. The sign adorning their booth proclaims "100% Curse-Free Top Quality Costumes!" The pony is even wearing a dark cloak and ominous hood: surely they are a costuming enthusiast.

Normally, Twilight wouldn't buy any merchandise from a shady vendor, but there's no way she's going to show up to the Canterlot Historical Revisionists Convention without a good costume. The historical revision enthusiasts would eat her alive in every debate she attempted!

Surely the merchant is obeying Equestrian truth-in-advertising laws.

Gilda is pranking the ponies of Manehattan with wedgies when she meets a particularly athletic pegasus. This story contains wedgies for the purpose of pranking and hilarity only. Its also a bit more lighthearted than the stories I've written in the past. If you like reading about ponies. getting their undies yanked than this is the story for you. If your not into wedgies then please save yourself the headache and nausea and don't read this! Everyone else please enjoy!

A concerned father watches his beloved daughter as she thrashes in her sleep. She has fallen ill to a disease that magic and medicines can't cure. A nurse watches the grief stricken father and worries that his daughter and other children will die unless a remedy is found.

Unknown to the father and nurse, a remedy is galloping into town in the form of three troubled ponies.
