Last chapter Derpy was a trusted alone in the house with a chore which could, theoretically, burn the place down... thankfully everything appeared to go smoothly. This chapter, she's an adult and is for the most part by herself, sick in bed, not at home but in a familiar place... and a pony she knows is coming to visit her. Hopefully that pony can answer some of her questions.

What to do, what to do... with all that Derpy has just told Applejack, she knows something's going to have to happen. She's a practical pony, there for all her friends... it makes sense Applejack can figure something out, right? If not by herself then maybe a friend might help. We can only hope

In the last chapter we found Derpy, intoxicated and resting in the Apple family's guest room. The farm pony tries to figure out what got her to that point. They're both adults. In this chapter we take a look, yet again, into the past...
Added new Chapter "Perspectives"
Where we last left off, Derpy was a mere filly tasting the world of both freedom and responsibility, as most kids do when the grow. With her friends gone to summer camp, all she had was herself to play with and she seemed pretty happy. When not playing she was growing and exploring, and that meant were going up.
Added chapter "Honesty Revisited?"
This chapter takes place in the past, while Derpy was still exploring the world... and the world seems to open to her a little more each day. Prior to this Derpy had learned about chores during a rainy afternoon, something she had always wanted for herself, but in getting what we want not only does it open up new things, but eventually... it becomes humdrum, part of everyday life.
The Bubbly Mare is updated with new chapter -- "Good Friends".
Last we saw Derpy she was a mere filly just being introduced to the world of responsibility. As an adult, however, when we last saw her she was drunk, alone, and in a familiar bed that isn't hers. At least she's found herself among friends.
Added Chapter "Like Solitude".
Last time Applejack and Rainbow Dash were putting together the pieces of what happened that ended Derpy up sprawled out in the Sweet Apple Acres lot, drunk as all get out. This chapter focuses on happier things in Derpy's life... perhaps. Maybe. I'm not so sure now that I think about it ^^
I'm having fun alternating from past to present in this story. It's been neat, and surprisingly challenging.

Last time we saw Derpy she was in a drunken haze, her friends hoisting her up to take care of her and keep her safe... something bad had happened. She woke up later, dazed and confused... but what exactly had happened while she was out?
Holy crap, that took forever 
So, where we last left Derpy she was getting very drunk because things were not working out well for her at all. She wanted to find just one pony to help her talk about it in the end.
In the chapter that took place before she attended her own Cutesinara with all her friends, and even possibly some that ponies there were hoping she'd make.
Where we last left Derpy she was in a bit of an unpleasant situation, and the million bit question is does it get better? Tune in to find out 
Whew, this is long overdue! It's been around 7 months since the last update. Good news is I've got over 12,000 words to share. During the delay I've had some personal issues and have been trying to keep positive. My apologies to those who've been waiting for an update. I have not forgotten any of my stories.

This is where the stuff gets real. After running into some drama Derpy wants to tell Thunderlane that everything's going to be okay, but how does she go about doing that and what're the end results?

Didn't know if I was gunna make Christmas with this one ^^
Added two chapters to "The Bubbly Mare" -- "Loyalty" and "Changes". The later is loosely Hearthswarming themed.
Both spent a great time in editing, particularly "Changes". Might be one of the longest chapters I've published for Fimfic at a bit over 6K... almost made the second half of it another chapter O.o
Two new chapters added:
"Closeness" and "New Sprouts".
These are two chapters I was looking forward to writing, though I'll admit I had trouble with the later of the two. That's not liable to get as much attention though, heh 
Added two new Chapters to "The Bubbly Mare" -- "Honesty" and "Strange Ponies, Strange Places"
I'm really digging the structure. It works so far as: a chapter dealing with Derpy's past, a chapter in the present. Back and forth. It's kind of cool because by structuring it this way I can take a break from the tension from one part of the story and work on another. It's like having two stories side-by-side at once.
