Octavia and Vinyl have been dating for months, but neither has had a chance to introduce their significant other to their families. Vinyl always dodges the issue, but when Octavia is insistent, they have a fight. This leaves Vinyl with no other option than to have Octavia over to meet her parents.

Maybe she should have told Octavia who she really was?

Your friends tell you to grab a hold of yourself, but you ignore their advice. After Ace invites, or drags, you into a club is when you meet a DJ named Vinyl Scratch. True, you just met her and got into a rather awkward situation with her. But there is something about her that just uplifts you. Its a better feeling then any pain killer you been taking that's for sure.

Going to clubs may seem rather odd for you, but you find enjoyment from it because of a certain DJ. You get the chance to meet her after a show, but would she ever feel anything for somepony with your condition?

Finding a good outlet for your problems is a good way to reduce the stress of life, but when the outlet is another pony, with problems of her own, you may find your own problems taking an unwarranted backseat to theirs.

Sometimes, hardship might throw some light on what's really important, and it won't always be what you expect.

As a pony who is not a fan of the club scene you can rarely be caught near one, but one night you decide to go to one. There you see some famous DJs, you even get to meet the very famous Vinyl Scratch. After meeting at a show Vinyl Scratch offers you a position singing for her. Only problem is, you haven't sang for years. When a series of events leaves Vinyl alone, you come to her aid.
