Trixie has always invested herself in appearing as cool as possible. To all the other students at Canterlot High, she only ever shows them her absolute best, and she hides all of the nerdy things she'd otherwise be ashamed of.

When Twilight Sparkle catches her eye, Trixie just can't help but invite the nerdy girl over for a bit of flirting. But what happens when your crush discovers your horrible secret? When she finds out that you're not nearly as cool as you pretend to be? Trixie is about to find out, and what happens will change her life.

After reading A.K Yearling's latest adventure, together with each other by their side, Twilight invites her marefriend Trixie Lulamoon for a short period of cuddling together. Relationship strengthening, she calls it. One problem. The newly improved Great and Powerful, yet Loving Trixie (It's a working title!) does not, and I repeat, DOES NOT cuddle! Or maybe she just doesn't know how...

Trixie's life is just fine. Wonderful, in fact. Everything is just going her way. Then why does she feel so miserable? She hasn't done a show in weeks or even been around anypony and why is she feeling the need to see her nemesis, Twilight Sparkle?

After a night at Twilight's library, Trixie discovers something horrible about her new girlfriend:
She's a morning person. UGH.

A gloomy night in Ponyville from a distant thunderstorm serves as the perfect backdrop for exploring a little unconventional romance for one of the town's most recent couples. However not too long into the experimentation, Twilight Sparkle's overzealous nature kicks the plan into a wall, or more accurately a bookcase.

Rainbow Dash learns that she has a sister, whose current whereabouts and status are completely unknown. It's not even known if she's alive.

Trixie discovers from a doctor that she has a sister who resides in Ponyville, and now has the chance to visit the family she never knew.

It's just a day after Trixie's show where she preformed the trick only the Great Hoofdini did before her, diving into the mouth of a manticore and making her first friend in one Starlight Glimmer. But oddly enough, she hasn't gone back on the road for another town, another show. In fact, she's stayed in town a bit longer and when Twilight comes around to investigate she has one particular thing to say that'll leave the Princess of Friendship shocked and confused about her own feelings for the showmare, with her student caught up in the middle of it all...
