Getting presents on Hearth's Warming is great. Everypony knows, however, that what's even better is giving somepony else the perfect present. Twilight Sparkle figured out long ago that seeing their eyes light up with the magic that can only be felt on this special day was what really brought ponies closer together in each other's hearts.

So, when Rainbow Dash shows up early Hearth's Warming morning with a rickety old sleigh and tells her to hop in, how can she refuse? After all, sometimes the best gifts are the most unexpected ones.

Rainbow Dash has rather a poor reputation when it comes to her workload. Everypony always thinks of her as the pony who takes three naps during daylight hours, and four on weekends, and always seems to be looking for something to do to pass the time. All of this is true, of course. But ponies seem to think this means that she must not ever get very much work done.

Can the weather captain for all of Ponyville really be as lazy as she seems? Is that the only explanation for Rainbow Dash's free time and constant napping?

The weather is a full-time job. Twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. And the worst weather happens at night.

So weather ponies have strange sleeping habits.

Big Macintosh and Caramel are asked to come to the Ponyville Schoolhouse one day to discuss a picture book that Apple Bloom made for a class project. The story is about how her big brother Mac, and her Uncle Cara, are both secret agents. On the surface, the story itself seems innocent enough. But when Cheerilee asks the two to read what's inside, the couple get a lot more than they expected...
