The long trial was over, and Twilight - no, Dusk Shine's finally out from under that terrible shadow. Poor little Skyla and her auntie could move on with their life. Skyla's murderous grandfather was behind bars, and Dashville was simply beautiful in the fall!

And all Dusk Shine needed to do was stay out of the public eye, and never catch the eye of 'King' Sombra's secretive confederates. And make sure that she stayed in the local deputy marshals' good graces.

How much trouble could a slightly witchy woman and her orphaned niece get up to in a quiet Applelachian town like Dashville, anyways? Even if they were hiding in witness protection from their incarcerated drug-cult kingpin of a patriarch.

Trixie wasn't sure if it was when she purchased that artifact with her last bit, or when she found herself wandering into a ruined shrine in the woods that she first went astray, but astray she certainly had gone. And now she was standing under an alien sky, empty of Luna's moon, or Celestia's sun.

Trixie was afraid that if she was not the guest of this dark and monstrous lord, she would find herself something much, much worse.

So it it was showtime. Time to earn her keep, her welcome. Because she'd rather be a guest to lunch, than the first course at dinner.

Though she might not want to admit it, it had been too long since she had a captive audience.

And who could be more captive than a Lord of Shadows entombed in a half-tartarus doom-world?

Work work work. That's all Sunset cares about. She never complains, but what truly lies inside the young woman's heart? Will a close friend be able to break the walls built around her? Or will she never know what Sunset really feels?

Sunset knows that Twilight is still new to this whole friendship thing, but when the girls decide to invite her to a party to help loosen her up she decides to tag along to look out for her. But what if Twilight see this as something more than simply friendship?

Twins do everything together: they share secret languages, they go everywhere together, and some work together. Some like Breach and Clear, two unicorn twins, hunt down and capture changelings for the government together.

Sometimes that work includes going to remote locations with not a lot of support and just each other to rely on. So this contract shouldn't be any different, right?

Rainbow is dealing with a few problems regarding her feelings towards Fluttershy. So Twilight suggests that perhaps a bit of therapy may help her come to terms with them.

A stormy night, something that's supposed to instill fear and unease into those who see it. The flashes of lightning and cracks of thunder serve as warnings to those who witness it. We are meant to fear it. But what happens when you learn to face the storm head on and overcome it?

My story for the third annual FlutterDash contest.

Twilight almost missed out on the chance to have friends. So when she finds a spell in an an ancient tome that promises to tell her when she will meet her true love, she decides to get a head start on things and prepare for the fated hour.

Too bad her true love seems to be taking their sweet time showing up.

Fluttershy lives a happy life. Every day is special. All of her friends are lovely ponies.
Today is a day just like any other; she wakes in the morning, does her chores, sees her friends, takes a nap and sees more of her friends before an evening of relaxation.
Just an ordinary, wonderful day.
