The stupidly-named holiday side story to The Iron Horse: Everything's Better With Robots!

Robot pony Turing Test learns about Hearth's Warming and decides to get a gift for Twilight and Spike to show her gratitude for all they've done for her, but she wants to do something special. No gift cards, socks, or box of sugar plums will do for this robot! To find the ultimate gift for her first Hearth's Warming, she'll go to the ends of Equestria!

It's Hearth's Warming Eve, and everypony is happy. Except for a little filly, sitting outside, trying to sell matches.

This is the ponified story of Hans Christian Andersen's classic The Little Match Girl. I'm sure most of you know it, but if you don't, now you do. I hope you enjoy.

This was written for the Equestrian Writers Guild's contest of fairytales.

Queen Chrysalis sees an opportunity to break up the Elements of Harmony before they spoil another one of her brilliant plans to rule all of Equestria. Since all of them are unmarried mares, all she needs to do is get them fighting over a stallion. And if one stallion isn't enough, she sends one male changeling for each of them, plus a spare.

Too bad she didn't think this one through first.

A damaged robot pony, unlike anything ever seen in pre-industrial Equestria, is found in the orchard. Before it collapses, it says only two words: "Twilight Sparkle..."

It had been a long time since Gari had seen her Mother-even longer since she had heard her voice. She had known her Mother before she had transformed into Nightmare Moon, and now, she would see her again. Gari would always remember the beautiful mare that saved her life; the wonderful pony that made her who she was. She would always remember her.

Now, if only her Mother would remember her, too.

The law exists to protect Equestrian citizens, and must be enacted in a fair and even manner. Prince Blueblood knows this; he's accepted punishment for his numerous minor disturbances of the Equestrian legal system, without ever trying to slip out of it.

Fluttershy is in violation the law. Ergo, she must be brought to justice. That's just logic.

Now if only he can get the captain of the guard and his annoyingly lackidasial aunt to cooperate...

The ponies within Ponyville had enough trouble with the horrid onslaught of vines infecting, and spreading all over the place. What if, thanks to some off-screen shenanigans by a particular Draconequus, the vines didn't just spread to Ponyville, but also to the grand fountain of Rose Quartz! And what a time for that: the grand gems themselves need it the most. Just how much trouble will both worlds end up in, especially when one world is connected to another thanks to a force beyond them both? Will there be friends, foes, or both? Let's see where this ride will go. Many songs, adventure, and silliness to come!
