Hoping to stop her first Friendship lesson, Starlight Glimmer decides to break the law in order to delay her reunion with Sunburst.

It's been a while since I did a Fluttercord fic, but this idea, ironically, was inspired by the song "Topsy Turvy" from the Hunchback of Notre Dame. I did not copy the other fic that is similar to this. Completely different and in this one there is no monster in the bell tower thing going on. I hope you enjoy!

Set in an alternate universe where Discord moves into Canterlot instead of staying in Ponyville after "Keep Calm and Flutter On," and where Tirek wins. It's my first attempt at sad, so constructive criticism is appreciated, but please be gentle :)

Twilight now feels inclined to share her feelings about the matter. Though the circumstances were different and their reasons even more so, they can agree on one thing....

To Spike, the mare of his dreams is gorgeous, pragmatic, industrious and kind and down-right radiates agrarian allure. He found that all in Applejack when he and Twilight moved to Ponyville, the honest farm mare that is just as sweet as apple cider.

It's had a day since Twilight Sparkle and her friend's had defeated Tirek, the latest foe to threaten their home, and she couldn't be happier...until a pony appears before her with wishes to speak to her about something important. Unfortunately for the young princess, this meeting may leave her with a bad taste in her mouth. But maybe, just maybe another princess may put to ease whatever tension the new princess might have. She might also learn how to put up with snobs you can't see past their own muzzles.

"Hey, you used to be Celestia's student, right? Did you know Sunset Shimmer?"

Discord breaks off his relationship with Reality in order to see Insanity exclusively. It's better for everyone this way.

Or that's what he keeps telling himself.

All ponies of the same race and age are exactly identical -- except for their manestyle, color, and cutie mark. That's why Fluttershy was able to be such a perfect copy of Rainbow Dash during Twilight's magic duel with Trixie.

Spike notices this, and contemplates the possibilities.... including, much to Twilight's chagrin, the possibility of changing her into Rarity for a day.
