Scootaloo grew up at an orphanage ran by Gerda. The old hag had clipped Scootaloo's wings last time she tried to escape. Now, under cover of darkness years later, she has finally escaped and boarded a train to Ponyville. Will she stop running from her past long enough to enjoy her new life?

A slice of life story that will follow Scootaloo from orphan to daredevil, from the Cutie Mark Crusaders to Dash teaching her to fly, and beyond!

This story is lightly self-edited and I'm aiming for a pace of a short chapter a day. It keeps me busy while my editors work on my other, more "serious" stories

Sweetie Belle has a secret. One that she's been hiding for... well, she doesn't know how long, and is looking for answers to.

So what happens when three not-ponies find out their friends aren't ponies either?

Well, one thing's for certain: they're going to have to come up with a new name for their club. Hopefully one better than the title.

A lot happened to Twilight Sparkle the year before she made the transition to Ponyville, before she realized the value of a friend, and before she saved all of Equestria...

After a chance encounter with "Rainbow:" an enigmatic, amnesiac pegasus mare with a rainbow-striped mane and a knack for mischief, Twilight begrudgingly finds herself overseeing her recovery, all while questions keep surfacing. Like who is she? Where did she come from? And more importantly... why can't she get her off of her mind?

As days turn to weeks, and weeks turn to months, destinies are revealed and the past is dug up as Rainbow's memories begin to resurface; and as sinister forces set their sights on Equestria, Twilight and Rainbow find they must overcome themselves in order to become the heroes they are meant to be.

Not long after winning the honor of carrying the Ponyville flag for the Equestria Games, Scootaloo finds herself struggling with schoolwork, friendships, and of course, her inability to fly. While working on an assignment for school, she discovers the existence of a group of powerful psychics that Equestrian royalty consult for many things - including helping parents choose a name for their newborn foals.

Curious, Scootaloo pleads for Princess Twilight Sparkle to meet them and ask the one question that she direly wants to know - "Will I ever be able to fly?"

Despite Princess Celestia's warning, Twilight meets with them - but is the truth worth the price she may have to pay to herself and Scootaloo?

Story takes place after "Flight to the Finish," and then branches from there.

Scootaloo never had an easy life. Not only was she orphaned at a very young age, but she is also a pegasus doomed to never attain flight.

But her life changes forever when she meets Fang, an eccentric magician who is not what she seems. Fang keeps many secrets, but Scootaloo will soon discover that she too carries one – a dark and terrible secret, hidden away in her own heart. One that even she herself was not aware of.

As the two grow closer and more secrets are revealed, Scootaloo must find the courage to open her heart, learn the mysteries of magic, and discover what it means to be a familiar.

Set in the TwistedSpectrum's Five Score, Divided by Four setting. If you haven't read it yet I'd recommend giving it a look. Very interesting concept. Though the whole time I was reading it I kept wondering where the Princesses were. He said he didn't plan on using them so I decided I'd have a go at a side-story in his cool universe. XD

I thought it was going to be a normal Sunday morning. Boy, was I wrong. Not even out of my bed I discover that I am now Rainbow Dash... and I'm still on Earth. In wake of my sudden change, I try to handle the situation with my knowledge gained from the fandom, my inner brony writer helping me along the way.
