After receiving her first correspondence from Princess Twilight, Dragon Lord Ember decides to embark on a journey to Ponyville to help bridge the two cultures. Accompanying her, is the cantankerous Garble, one who Ember believes could benefit most from this foreign Pony concept of "friendship." Shortly after arriving, however, Ember learns that this supposed teacher of friendship is just using Spike as her personal servant. Such indignance will not stand. Not if Dragon Lord Ember has anything to say about it.

After learning that Discord avoided the Hospital, where Rainbow Dash learns that she's pregnant, Fluttershy asks why he didn't come. Turns out, Discord has a huge disliking of babies, all thanks to a job he took to babysit Flurry Heart while Cadence and Shining Armor were away.

Twilight Sparkle gets hurt. The natural response is to let slip a bad word. But as she lets out said word of bad, something interrupts her. This is surprising, but not unexpected. Random happenings occur in Ponyville all the time. But then it happens again. And again. Pretty soon Twilight Sparkle suspects that there's some larger force at play. In the wake of Celestia's return to Equus, the ponies have worked tirelessly to prepare for the arrival of the Ascended. Defenses have been set up, weapons prepared, allies warned, but most important of all in the minds of both Diarchs, a cure for the Indoctrination has been pursued.

The Ascended, or the Reapers as they are known to the rest of the galaxy, are not amused. They attack in force, unwilling to stand by and let this small, barely space-worthy race of unascended quadrupeds neutralize their most effective weapon in their march towards galactic cleansing.

Now they too shall learn to fear the dark, and the Princess who controls it.

So I was making a sandwich one day and I recalled the fight with the twin Lizalfos in the Fire Temple from Skyward Sword (and I don't care what you haters say, I liked Skyward Sword!). I always wanted a story revolving around those ass-hats, and after finding little to no results I decided to create my own! This story is about one of the two Lizalfos in the Fire Temple, as one of them is taken from his home and dropped into Equestria!
