As the Clone Wars rage on, the Confederacy of Independent Systems create several "experimental" units of enhanced droids to better fight against the Republic's clone soldiers. Right before their deployment, a beverage-induced mishap sends one ship full of these droids barreling blindly through hyperspace.

In the alternate timeline where Sombra was not stopped, a human finds himself suddenly in Sombra's body... just after the dread tyrant has conquered Equestria. Now trapped in a world where just about everyone hates him, he must try to keep up the illusion that he is the villainous conqueror, while at the same time try to win over his new subjects.

However, this will not be so simple, as the real Sombra is not quite dead... and he is most definitely not happy.

After Chrysalis's final attack, she vowed with utter hatred in her eyes to seek revenge for snatching her royal rank away from her. King Thorax and his Princess allies prepared to defend against the former Queen.

But nothing happened. They waited, eventually easing upon their security, however still alert on the possibility that she was still alive.

But one day, King Thorax receives a report on the Griffon Kingdoms. After approaching a griffon outpost, to collect Intel, a changeling scout began to take sniper fire.

After carefully crawling away and gaining a visual on the enemy sniper, the scout expected to see a griffon sniper. But upon taking a closer look, the changeling was stunned to see not a griffon - but an un-reformed changeling.

The scout took a picture of the snipers face, and then returned home for a report.

The scout was terrified to see the changelings face.

Few ponies even considered the possibilities of life on other planets. And Yet across the gulf of luna’s space, minds immeasurably superior to ours regarded this earth with envious eyes. And slowly... and surely... they drew their plans against us.

P.S. I thought about making a 2005 version of the War of the Worlds movie since there's really nothing for this version. Hope you like it. Oh and the tripod noises work well for chapter two.

Edit: Just to let you all know. I've fixed the names for the two delegates. I never did know what their names were and I apologize for that. Oh and on another note, this takes place when season 3 ends.

Screwloose, the notoriously screwy pony, has been getting better. She's been seeing a therapist, Dr. Hornwinkle, and he is pleased with her progress. She has been building relationships, fitting in, attending therapy sessions regularly, and speaking pony-speak instead of barking.

Dr. Hornwinkle suggests during one session that she tries dating, to see if she can finally integrate into pony society.

Alas, the pressure is too much and Screwloose suffers a bit of a relapse.

Caboose was helping his friend, but took a wrong turn while looking for a bathroom, and now he's in Canterlot during the Changling Invasion... can someone explain to me how that's physically possible?
