A mammoth being of ancient metals and gears has awakened from the earth with the sole intention of destroying every villain in Equestria. Untouchable, unmovable, Discord remains as its last target of worth. Now the Spirit of Chaos must beg for Celestia's aid, even if things are so much more complicated than he would have ever wanted.

Assigned a book report for school, Dinky takes out a library book only to discover that she is the first pony ever to have checked it out- -but not realizing that she will be the last.

One Cuil is one level of abstraction away from the reality of a situation.

Traveling to Applewood through the San Palomino desert, Trixie is sweaty and tired. The town she usually stopped at on her way through was missing, and she feared it had been abandoned. When she finally sees a town, it's not the one she remembered, being almost a fortress of sorts.
The town is seemingly abandoned, save for strange mirrors in every home. When she finds out what they're for, she also discovers the town isn't as abandoned as she first thought.

Eye Spy isn't the best detective in Detrot. Far from it. But he's also never not solved a case. Which is pretty easy when all you take is grunt work and crap jobs spying on cheating spouses.

Then, suddenly, he learns that one of his employers is dead. Killed in his own building. And everything points to a serial killer on the streets of Detrot.

With little to no experience in murders, and the Equicide department tracking down Hard Boiled's killer Spy is all that's really left to find the guy. Especially when every other detective he knows is a suspect.

But on one fateful August day, she's met by an old colleague with a most fantastic story to share. Her old friend, Hidden Chamber, has come upon a strange artifact that predates any pony-made item. A strange slab with the most curious markings upon it inspires the two of them to lead an expedition into the borders of Equestrian territory, into the dense forests of the Northern Wilds. Packing up and leaving for the mysterious border town of Hollow Shades and the neighboring Mount Elder, their company seeks answers to mysteries that have been buried for millions of years.

But some mysteries aren't meant to be solved. There are some things pony was not meant to know. And the revelations may just bring Lyra's perfect world crashing down around her.
