This is a story about a journey across time, space, and some other strange dimensions that I don't have time to go into right now. It is a story of six... no, wait, eleven... no, it's... it's a story about quite a lot of ponies, let's put it that way. It is a story about those ponies, and the trials they face, the friendships they form, the pumpkins they ignore for no discernible reason. It is a story of betrayal, of hope, and all the cliché things that really good stories are made of. But for now, it is none of that. As far as we are concerned, this is a story about a young filly and her friends, and a game they play together...

Author's Note: Hey everypony! This is my first fic (or at least, the first fic I've ever submitted) so please rate and comment telling me what I could do better!

Just to clarify, this is a MLP / Homestuck crossover. There will be OCs, there will be lazily imported Homestuck mechanics, but hopefully there will also be entertainment to be had.

A Metroid Crossover

A meteor, resistant to magical manipulation, crashes in Equestria, Planet Equis, and soon spreads an unknown poison throughout the land. Containment is all but failing and the Princesses have little power to stop the spread of the Great Poison. The Elements of Harmony are of little use as no knowledge exists of this threat that consumes all life. Help comes from a certain Hunter, clad in metal.

Samus Aran will not only fight for her life as always, but her own sanity as well as these ponies that she begrudgingly starts seeing as allies. New horrors and abilities await her as a reason to fight slowly festers within her, possibly unlocking something she had been denied for so long: Friendship.

Notes and Resources:

This takes place after Echoes. The events of Corruption will have not happened yet. In terms of MLP, consider everything up to and including the Crystal Empire. Princess Twilight does not exist here, etc. The official Metroid Timeline can be found here.

As well, this story references the manga in many places. Reading of it is not required and I try my best to explain the context, but if you're interested, both volumes can be found here.

EDIT: This story was written over two and a half years, beginning in 2013. You'll probably notice the difference in writing as the chapters progress.

Hollow Shades is a town rich in its history of ghost sightings and supernatural occurrences, even if most of them aren't real. There is one tale though that's as old as the town itself, and the Hunter Colts, Willow and Ringabel, are about to find out that it's more than just a story.

Spore is a game where people create their own race of creatures and modify the game to fit their liking. Most of these creations are weird and bizarre, as they come form the imagination, but did you ever think... how would they see us if they were able to meet us? Or maybe they would react better to a group of technicoloured ponies?

When Princess Twilight finds research suggesting that they aren't alone in the universe she decides to continue working on the project, but she doesn't do it alone. With the help of her friends and a mysterious visitor, will she find the answers she wants? Or will Equus get conquered for all it's resources? Read to find out

I made this to hopefully redeem myself from the other story I made... That was a horrible project.

Twenty-five moons ago, an accident unleashed billions of nanoscopic machines called Nanites, which spread to every corner of the globe and infected every living thing.

Most of the Nanites are inactive. A lot of them aren't.

When Nanites go active, their host organisms mutate unpredictably, becoming dangerous creatures called EVOs. Some EVOs have control over their powers. Some remain intelligent. Some even just want to be left alone.

Some have more sinister goals.

And then there's the outsider. One teenage girl who is, in reality, a unicorn exiled from another dimension. Having turned her back on Equestria and fled through the mirror at almost the exact same time as the Event, Sunset Shimmer has become the most extraordinary, unusual EVO of all...

...and she has the power to cure EVOs.

But will a self-centered, power-hungry, arrogant former unicorn really save a human race she doesn't care anything about?

Pinkie Pie opens up a tourist trap in hopes of earning the Cakes some more money. She and her friends are the first to go, the gang happy to help out Pinkie. What Pinkie forgot to mention is that the attraction is and endless hole in the earth. Now, the Mane 6 are falling down, presumably forever. With no-one able to teleport or fly, what choice do they have but to pass the time telling stories? Inspired by the Gravity Falls episode of the same name.

“I’ll be back before you know it,” Fluttershy told Twilight before leaving. Time is relative, of course. Pet sitting some adorable animals who love and dote on you can make a weekend seem like an hour. On the other hoof, pet sitting Angel for a weekend would make it feel like watching paint dry.

If the paint gave off toxic fumes and tried to kill you!

This just may be Twilight’s ultimate test.

Reversal spells sometimes have a few ... unprecedented side-effects. Some, much more permanent than others, as Angel bunny finds out. In a wicked turn for the worse, he must stop his kind-hearted caretaker from destroying the entire cottage, and his sleep schedule.

Our favorite little bunny finds himself in a bit of trouble that may or may not teach him a lesson in knowing not to bother ponies when they're busy. That, or just hating purple alicorns.

Either way, Angel Bunny is in a sticky situation. Happy Easter!

Some versions of multiverse theory state that every decision we make creates a whole other universe. Whether we ate a bagel this morning. Whether we went with orange or grapefruit juice for breakfast.

Whether we married Discord or Flash Sentry.

Needless to say, some universes come out more different than others.
