Twilight is looking forward to unwinding after a long day at the library. The bath is filled, the candle is lit, and her favorite book is waiting on the tub-side table.
Just as she slips into the hot water, she wonders why she hadn't seen Fluttershy all day...

Just a little quick piece of fiction I dashed off in response to a prompt on Tumblr.

Trying to keep something a secret from somepony is hard, especially if that somepony is your marefriend.

One of my (slightly too long) Flarity stories for the Flarity Group Collab; and we would love if more people participated.

Twilight firmly believes that ghosts belong in the realm of fantasy. But after multiple brushes with the supernatural in her home, she turns to the one pony who can help. Now Fluttershy, Twilight and Spike must banish the spirit before it starts flinging her pans and clogging the toilets.

When the Bearers race forth from Ponyville on an official mission, somepony has to take over on their day jobs. For Fluttershy, that's usually Snowflake.

But he's not available right now, so today, it's going to be a Sherman tank.

Don't worry. I'm sure nopony will ever notice the difference.

After the events of "Dragonshy" Rainbow Dash wishes to apologize to Fluttershy for her behavior earlier. But the shy Pegasus has another problem in mind.

It's Twilight's first date with her new marefriend. After consulting Dating for Dummies, she decides it would be best if she personally cooked them dinner.

There's just one problem: Twilight can't cook. At all. But a cookbook and a bit of improvisation should be enough to make up for that, right?

Books are invaluable possessions. If a book contains a good enough tale, it can be passed down from generation to generation, warranting multiple reads and rereads each time it is passed down.

Books are comfort. A well-built world can make a reader forget whatever troubles they may have.

Books are empowering. Books are memorable. Books are works of art.

Twilight Sparkle hasn't read a book in three days.

Fluttershy has always wanted to give more of her kindness towards ponies. However, her shyness impedes her speaking, which makes her hard to express herself. After asking for her help, Pinkie Pie teaches Fluttershy to communicate with physical interactions instead, like hugs.

It works so well that Fluttershy decides to hug every pony in Ponyville.
