Back home from a weeklong trip, Time Turner finds Ponyville in the grip of the post Hearts and Hooves day “new love” phase. New relationships between couples have been forged, and anypony still unattached will be looking for their own special someponies.

It’s kind of annoying really. As soon as ponies see a relationship bloom they want to find somepony for themselves, and right now those ponies are searching for all the wrong reasons.

Time Turner doesn’t want to get involved, he’d rather relax for a while and recover from his latest “business” trip. The all-powerful force of love can go bother somepony else, thanks.

Love can be avoided, especially if you’re a literal time turner, but occasionally that’s not enough.

As a note: I'm reliably informed the first chapter starts off a little dull, and that generally the story really hits its stride in chapter two.

Blossomforth is fresh out of college and ready to take on the world. Sure, moving to Ponyville to get a job on the weather team is going to be a bit of an adjustment, but it's nothing she can't handle. Besides, Rainbow Dash seems like a fine boss. Upon reuniting, an innocent conversation quickly turns into a sour argument, prompting Pinkie to ask herself all sorts of questions. Who's in the wrong? What should she do? Why are all the bad things happening right now?

Losing your virginity is a big milestone for anypony. Especially when you finally hook up with the pony of your dreams in the process. There was just one problem for Blossomforth: when she woke up the next morning, the other side of the bed was empty. Cloud Kicker wasn't there.

Sure, Blossomforth understands why Cloud Kicker wasn't there for her. Cloud's been going through a rough time lately, and maybe their hookup wasn't timed very well. However, knowing that doesn't make Cloud's absence hurt less, nor does it make Blossomforth any less lonely. Perhaps this is a sign that she needs to put some serious thought into where her relationship with Cloud is going, before things get too far out of hoof.

Her talent, however, is not always enough on its own; occasionally, her job demands more. For the sake of pleasing one of her patrons, she must perform for a charity concert—a collaborative concert with her dubstep-loving friend Vinyl Scratch.

She and Vinyl must find a way to weave their genres together to create a new style of music for their patrons, all while maneuvering the tricky and underhoofed backstage politics of Canterlot society and the musical world.

She knew when she agreed to be Princess Twilight Sparkle's bodyguard that it was probably only a matter of time before some new ancient evil broke loose, and she would need to be there, at her princess' side.

When Tirek began his assault on Equestria, Storm was ready to give her life in the service of princess. What she wasn't prepared for was Twilight sending her away. However, regardless of her princess' orders, Storm swore an oath to serve and protect her princess, and she will do what she must to fulfil it. Even if it means putting her life on the line in a hopeless battle against an enemy she cannot possibly defeat.
