Whew! So Midnight’s Shadow: Midnight Begins is finally finished. The first major story arc, book, whatever you want to call it of Midnight Sparkle’s saga is done, done, done! And boy what a journey it has been. It’s a bit nuts to think about, but it was over two years ago since I first posted the first chapter of this story, and now I’ve completed it. As of the date of this blog, this is the longest story I have completed, and so I can say pretty confidently this is no mean accomplishment.

I've just shipped off the thirteenth chapter of Midnight Begins to my prereaders as we move into the epilogue portion of that story.

I've also completed the writing for Study of a Winning Pony Chapter 26, and that will be next up on the editing quo.

As of right now, I'm on vacation from work, and slowly plugging away at my latest short story, which I hope to finish before too long.

I have some good news. Some of your might have wondered about the lack of things from me for the last few weeks, but I assure you, I have been typing away in a busy manner. I just wanted to plug in that I've shipped off the 11th chapter of Midnight Begins to my prereaders. I've been making good progress on this story and have chapter 12 also ready, and I'm currently clicking away at this story's epilogue. I might split up the epilogue into two different chapters depending on how long it gets, and how it looks narratively. But I'll decide that as I get further along writing wise.

Good news everyone, I just sent off the ninth chapter of Midnight's Shadow to my prereaders to go over. So if all goes well, we should see that chapter posted up here in a little over a week.

I've already finished the writing portion of Midnight's Shadow 10, but I plan on waiting for my prereaders go over 9 first. Next up I'll be writing the next chapter of Study to get that story moving again.

I've sent off the eight chapter of Midnight's Shadow to my prereaders. It's a chapter I've been looking forward to writing for quite a while now, and I hope everyone will enjoy it when it goes up.

Study Chapter 22 is coming along nicely on the writing front, with 6.5K already having been written, and I plan to get it done this weekend.

So I'm now officially back into the writing grind now that real life has stopped kicking me around so hard. (Hopefully.) Midnight's Shadow Chapter 7 has been sent off to my prereaders to go over, and the action is starting to kick up in that story. So I look forward to showing everyone that chapter.

Next up I'm going to get back to Study for a chapter. From there we will see depending on what I want to write.

It's been a busy month for me. And while progress has been slow while working 10-14 hours days for the last few weeks, I managed to finally crack out the next chapter of Midnight's Shadow for everyone's enjoyment. If all goes well I hope to have that up in about a week.
