Twilight decides that Rainbow Dash & Applejack are in love, and sets out to bring the happy couple together. The truth is, however, that a grudge match for Twilight's affections has begun between them, and as their actions drive their own friendship apart the cracks appear elsewhere. Who will come out the victor, who will be left in the dust, and why can't everypony get along?

When a freak reading accident causes Twilight to be admitted to the Ponyville hospital, Rainbow Dash is right by her side. Compelled by a sense of duty and repayment, she takes it upon herself to cheer up her friend.

Twilight Sparkle never thought it would happen to her, but since coming to Ponyville she's made five fast friends. Now she's ready to take those relationships to the next level... but are they?

Twilight and Pinkie are waiting for a train. To pass the time, Twilight suggests a game of haiku- a game Pinkie is familiar with, apparently.

Everypony knows that Rarity can be a bit dramatic, but when she realizes her affections for another mare, even she has trouble controlling the theatrics. Every time she goes to say one thing, she says another, getting no nearer to the task at hand: confessing her emotions for Twilight Sparkle.

After failing hard at baking, Twilight casts a greater observation spell which allows her to notice the little things she normally glazes over. Is she ready to see the things she accepts without questioning including the way a certain pink pony feels about her?

This is a rework and repost of a story i posted at two other sites. it's a rather short one shot light hearted twi-pie ship fic and should not be approached any other way.

At first it was just another party, but this one was always going to be special. The first chance to celebrate the anniversary of the original sonic rainboom and Pinkie was going to pull out all the stops.

But when Twilight questions how Pinkie could possibly do the things she does and begins to piece things together, she finally gets an answer. As she does, she realises that sometimes it's important to never lose sight of the pony you are.

A few weeks ago, Chrysalis and her brood attacked Ponyville for revenge against Twilight. During the fight, the final spells of the two collide and create a portal that they're sucked into. The Princesses with the help of the others manage to summon them back only to find... that the two are marefriends!? How the buck did that happen!?

Twilight Sparkle may believe in Pinkie Pie's myriad abilities, but when an opportunity to study them from a perspective she never thought possible arises, how can she resist the chance at the understanding she's always truly wanted? More importantly, can Ponyville survive the trade-off necessary for this opportunity?
